Three golf courses, three different experience !
Three golf courses, two casinos, and luxury hotels tucked away behind beaches of white sand…
Tina, the golf between land and sea
Set off with your sets, your woods, your irons, and your putters, land under the sun of Nouméa, and discover, just 10 minutes from the town centre, the Tina golf course: a par 72 of 5,889 metres, exploiting to the hilt the local geographic diversity. The course is divided into two parts: 9 undulating holes inland and 9 along the shore, the mangroves, and the beaches. Tina, with its club-house whose terrace overlooks the practice area, is considered by seasoned golfers to be one of the best French courses at the other end of the world.
Dumbéa, a green setting between mountain and river
25 minutes from the capital is the Dumbéa golf course in a green setting between mountain and river. Its 75 hectares will surprise you with its outstanding position and the golfing skills required. A par 72 of 6,279 metres, this flat course has many advantages: 9 particularly technical first holes, with many obstacles, and 9 last to bring all your skills into play. The “19th” restaurant and bar will welcome you to refreshments or lunch in a friendly, relaxing setting.
La Ouenghi, a golf in the heart of the caledonian "bush"
The 3rd golfing wonder of New Caledonia, the Ouenghi golf course, built in 1990, is a par 72 of 6,151 metres. This wooded course, essentially on flat terrain, can be covered in 3 hours. Only 2 or 3 holes are undulating. The out of limits difficulties of the 5 first holes should be noted. The course is alongside the Les Paillottes de La Ouenghi hotel and restaurant at and a leisure complex with 15 bungalows and a restaurant known for its seafood platters. Make the most of the activities on offer: swimming pool, canoe and kayak, fishing, mountain-biking and pony-trekking.
